WCF Management Committee

The WCF is managed by its Member associations through a Management Committee and, through them, to various individuals of WCF Committees.

Each Member country is represented on the Federation Council, which devolves authority to the Management Committee in between meetings.

A "Full" member of the WCF has 1, 2, or 3 votes at Council meetings, depending on the size of its association. "Associate" and "Observer" members do not have a vote.

At present, the WCF has 11 "Full" members, 4"Associate" members and 12"Observer" members.

The Management Committee consists of the President and 6 other members plus Treasurer and Secretary-General. The President holds office for a term of 4 years and may only serve a maximum of two terms.

Committee Members hold office for 4 years, and then retire by rotation. They may serve any number of terms. Elections are held biennially in December by postal ballot.
