Andres was born in Madrid. He is a law student at the Complutense University in Madrid.
Andres was Spanish champion (under 16 years old) in 1998 and 1999 and runner-up in 2000. He won the doubles event (under 16 years old) in 2001. In 2002 he was 5th in the Spanish croquet ranking, 3rd in 2003 and 6th in 2004. Runner-up in the II Spanish Open (2004), he represents Spain at the 11th and 12th European Association Croquet Championships (Jersey, September 2003 and 2004). He likes not only croquet, but also swimming, soccer, tennis, and sky riding.
