Ken Bald

Ken is a self employed builder who started playing croquet in 1993 after much “nagging” by his late mother-in-law Fran Thomas. Ken is married to Lorraine, they have three children – Matthew, Russell and Aleisha. Ken is Pa to four lively young grandsons – Zachary, Gus, Jacob and Liam.

Ken has played croquet since 1993 and he first represented his state of Victoria in 2000. He has been able to organise his work to make the most of the opportunities he has been offered to play in major tournaments both overseas and here in Australia. Highlights for Ken were the 2005 World Championships in Cheltenham (UK); representing Australia in the Trans Tasman against New Zealand; and playing in the Resort Invitational held at Timberline Mt.Hood (USA) in 2006.
