Mike was born in Cheshire, England and took up Golf Croquet in 2002.

He has since won the Handicap and Open Golf Croquet Doubles at the South African Masters Games in 2003 and is the current champion of the Gauteng Open Singles, Open Doubles and the Country Club Johannesburg (CCJ) Centenary Open Singles Championships as well as holding the Jonathan Paton Memorial Trophy for Handicap Doubles.

Mike owns an Exhibition design and contracting company,is married to Avril and has 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren.
