(Switzerland)
Born: 1956
Danny works at the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN), originally as a network engineer and more recently in the slow controls of the LHC experiments. Given that Switzerland’s croquet lawns are located on CERN property, Danny discovered croquet, and started playing in about 1998. Since then he has played against the German, Belgian, Austrian, Italian, Welsh, Scottish and English teams, and also participated in the Swiss Open tournaments. Danny met his South African wife Jean while climbing in the Swiss Alps. His other passions in life include skiing, cycling, travel, art, good food and wine (not necessarily in that order).
