David Dray

David was born in Margate Kent, and lives in nearby Ramsgate. He married his wife Suzanne, who supports him in every way, in July 2007.

He started playing Croquet in 1993 when his local School was contacted by the Ramsgate Croquet Club where he now plays.

David is a competitive player with a Golf Croquet Handicap of -3 and Association Croquet Handicap of +4. He won the Lancashire Open in 2001, (after breaking two mallets) and has competed in the British Open twice.

He was a member of the victorious Kent Golf Croquet Inter-County Championship team that won the event in 2006 and 2007.

He regards competing in the World Championship as a dream come true. He works as a Reception manager at the busy Kent International Hotel, Ramsgate who are currently sponsoring him.
