Norman Eatough

Norman funded the CERN Croquet Club in Geneva in 1982 and has been its President ever since. . He has played in 5 European and 7 World championships, coming 23rd in the 2004 Golf Croquet championship and 19th in the 2006 event. He has taken advantage of these croquet trips to visit the Pyramids, Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel, Cape Canaveral, The Everglades and many other places as well as hiking the Grand Canyon.

 

Nearer home he has played for Switzerland against Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium and representative C.A. England, Scotland and Wales sides.  He coaches in English, French and German.

 

 

His pther interests are varied and include Squash (fourt imes Swiss Champion), Hiking (Swiss Alpine Club and in Majorca), Tennis (once Geneva Champion), Skiing, (enjoying free ski-ing at 75 in some resorts), Travel and giving slide shows to various associations.
