Marcus first started playing croquet whilst still at school in Nailsea. He won the 2003 Treasurer's Tankard, (The UK 4th selection eight) at his first appearance. Now a student at Nottingham University his world ranking has risen, placing him the top 30 internationally. A strong hitter, he played in last years WCF Golf Croquet World Championship.
