Ian was a Rice Farmer living west of  Deniliquin in New South Wales.  He is now retired living on the NSW-Victoria border in the town of Moama, only a few minutes from Rich River Golf Resort where he plays croquet, golf and tennis.

Ian started playing golf croquet in 2002 and started playing association croquet in July 2005. He played in National Association Croquet Tournament and won the Handicap Doubles high low with with a lot of help from partner Barb Wheelhouse

He enjoys reading, snooker, billiards and travelling with his wife Marjorie, who encouraged him to take up croquet.
