With the rising cost of diesel fuel, Doug was recently forced to retire his beloved fishing trawler, the “Fluffy One”, and search for his first real job. 

Pursuing employment that empathized brain over brawl, he none-the-less chose the real estate business-- thus using neither. 

Fortunately, the new career path has left plenty of time to hone his already mediocre croquet skills in an unprecedented orgy of both major and minor tournaments. 

His accomplishments in 2008 include carrying his Canadian partner to a National Doubles Championship win, losing in the American Rules National Championship final to that “damn Jeff Soo”,   and field dressing a moose for Sarah Palin.  Most recently,  Doug’s play has earned him the honorary title of “King of the OTP.
