David Hajn

(Czech Republic)

David Hajn lives in the wonderful town of Telč which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. He works as a geography and sports teacher in a primary school with an ecological sight. He came to croquet in the year 2002 and this game has gripped him straight away because of it’s varied scale of technical and tactical skills which and needed. He is still an improving player and this effort has brought him the Czech Croquet Championship 2006 (single) and the 2007 Czech Interclub Championship with Croquet Club Dynamo Telč. He played in the FEC European Championship 2006 in Jersey and the WCF European Team Championship 2007 in Cheltenham (The Czech team was in 13th place).

David is a volleyball player and coach and a snowboard instructor.

His longstanding partner Hana Marečková, President of Association Bohemian and Moravian Croquet.
