Tony Hall retired from the Army in 1987 and has been playing croquet 1989.
He won the Australian Open Golf Croquet Singles Championship in 2004. In 2005 he was the champion Association Croquet player for both NSW and Queensland and won the Australian Golf Croquet Handicap from the lowest handicap. He was President of the WCF from 1997 to 2002 and is now Treasurer of Croquet Australia. He was convenor of the working party that wrote the WCF Golf Croquet Rules and chaired the WCF Golf Croquet Rules Committee until 2004. He has refereed at three MacRobertson Shields, six world GC championships and four world AC championships and has competed in three world AC championships and six world GC championships.
He is a widower with three children and seven grandchildren.
