Ben is from Newcastle, Co. Wicklow, Ireland and in his 6th year in East Glendalough School, Wicklow. He has been playing golf croquet for as long as he can remember, having a continuous childhood rivalry with Danny Johnston. He has been playing in competitive tournaments for around 6 years and has had great success in recent years, holding the ''Newell Candlestick'', the ''U.S.C.A Salver'' and winning the plate in the Championships of Ireland.
