Steve Jones

Steve lives on an island near Brisbane and is Business Development Manager of an Engineering company. After picking up a mallet using the “Pencil grip” at the age of 7, Steve later joined Cheltenham Croquet Club in England before emigrating to New Zealand in 1982, and Australia in 1999. A former World Champion at Sonoma Cutrer, Steve has played in a number of WCF World Championships. In 2000, Steve was Captain of the team that came within a whisker of snatching the coveted MacRobertson Shield in Christchurch. Interests outside croquet include boating, fishing, music, holidays in exotic locations, and his 1000 bottle wine collection!
