Rod Kirk of Bendigo's Quarry Hill Croquet Club first started playing in 1984 but has never played as well as his most recent two seasons. Twice winner of the Victorian Men's Championship (most recently in 2007), Kirk also achieved a second-place finish in the 2006 Victorian Gold Medal event, the 2007 Interstate Cup representing Victoria, and was third in the 2007 Australian Men's Championships.
