Stuart Lawrence

Stuart Lawrence has been playing croquet competitively since 1990. His home court is the lawn in New York's Central Park, where the midtown Manhattan skyline provides the backdrop.

Following several years during which he played few tournaments while he finished his undergraduate studies and attended law school, Stuart rededicated himself to the Association game more seriously in 2007.

Since then he has won the 2007 Delaware Croquet Club AC tournament, the 2008 USCA Association Croquet National Championships plate event, and the 2008 Ottawa Open. He finished his 2008 season with a respectable placing in the second eight of the USCA Selection Eights.

Stuart lives in Brooklyn, New York. He works in New York City as a staff attorney at a non-profit legal services office, where he represents low-income tenants.
