18 year old James is on a gap year at the moment, travelling the world before going to study Business Management at Sussex University in October.  He has been playing croquet for two years.  He caused quite a few upsets at his first major event, the 2008 British Open, before going on to win the Jersey Open and Spencer Ell a few weeks later.  His main sport is badminton and his hobbies include drinking, partying and having a good laugh.
