Ron Lloyd

Ron is the Director of Lawn Sports at the prestigious Pinehurst Resort, responsible for Lawn Bowling and Croquet.

After playing an occasional Association Croquet tournament in 2001 and 2002 Ron won the 2004 USA Sevens and the 2005 Selection Second 8s.  He had a breakout year in 2007 highlighted by match wins against Jonathan Kirby and Keith Aiton, at which time he made living in Scotland his lifetime goal.  He continued rising up the US ranks in 2008 as he was selected to play in the 2008 World Championships and the US Solomon Team.  Ron is also an excellent Golf Croquet player, winning the 2006 Doubles National Championship and singles runner-up.

All Ron’s efforts are geared toward growing all disciplines of croquet.  All other interests are having fun with everyone; just realize that if you are the brunt of his abuse then he really does love you.
