Born: 1988
AJ Reid made his debut on the world stage competing in the 2006 World Golf Croquet Championships in Hawke's Bay where he impressed with his hard-hitting confidence. The pinnacle of AJ's career so far has been winning the John Prince Trophy for coming runner-up in the 2007 New Zealand Open Championships where he took eventual winner Chris Clarke to 5 games including having two 3rd turn breaks to 4-back and some spectacular long hitting in. On his way to the final, AJ defeated New Zealand #2 Paddy Chapman in the semi-finals. Known for his flamboyant and expressive style, AJ has the potential to cause some major upsets at this Championships.
