Ben Rothman

Ben has been playing tournament croquet since 1996 when his uncle first introduced him to the 6-wicketgame. After several summers of playing, Ben was coerced into trying this crazy game with yard-lines and no rotation what-so-ever.

A few years later, Ben re-dedicated himself to the game he loved and was selected for the 2008 Solomon Trophy team. Ben played over 22 tournaments in 2008, winning the East Midlands Plate, the North American Open and placing 2nd in a few national championships.

Rather than look for a job in this challenged economy, Ben is attempting to finance his Croquet tour with clinics, lessons, and tournament directing. To make ends meet, Ben has been know to bet on his golf croquet shots; making money with 80 foot hoop shots, 30 foot jump shots, and occasionally shooting the peg left handed.
