Tony Stephens

Tony is a life member of the Rangatira Croquet Club in Dannevirke and has played there for over 50 years.  In 1960 he won all the major titles at the National Championships at the age of 16.  This was the last time this has been achieved in one year.  He have won numerous other titles over the years, as well as representing NZ twice at the MacRobertson Shield in 1993 and 1996.  In 1995 he was Captain of the winning Trans Tasman team in Australia, as well as being the Player of the Series.  He has been playing more golf croquet lately at the Te Mata Club in Hawkes Bay, which he thoroughly enjoys.
