Dick Strover

Dick Strover was educated at Dragon School and Marlborough College.

Dick is a Chartered Accountant and a retired partner from Pricewaterhouse Coopers, London.

He played croquet as a kid on the lawns at home with his grandmother, who had played Croquet for Essex around the start of the 20th century. 

His first experience of top level croquet was to referee at the 2004 GC worlds. Then Dick started playing seriously under tutelage of his brother Paul (GC worlds 2004) and played in his first tournament at Ripon that year reaching the semi finals. 

Subsequently he has reached the finals of several tournaments but never won any (always the bridesmaid, never the bride).,
