John Swabey started the Brussels club after he moved to Belgium from the UK 18 years ago and was suffering withdrawal symptoms.
He has been playing croquet off and on since 1977, in between bringing up 3 children. John started playing at Edgbaston, helped start 2 more clubs at Cirencester and Swindon, and is currently ranked 4th amongst Belgian players .
