Hello! Tell us about yourself...

Regulation 5 - 13 - Tournament Manager & Referee.

Regulations 5 - 13:- Tournament Manager & Referee
There are no proposals to change these.  They have a long history of development throughout the major playing nations and effectively control and limit the actions of the TM and TR but also give them a wide discretion to deal with matters that may arise.

Perhaps uniquely, at all WCF Championships there will be in place an “Appeals Committee” who can be relied upon to act as an advisor to the TM if something untoward is experienced, or where the regulations permit, act as final decision maker.

However, the practice of how TM and TR operate differs around the world.

Regulation 14 - Hoop Setting.

Regulation 14:-Hoop setting

With the wide variation of ground conditions that may be experienced around the world its main purpose is to achieve a single standard for use in WCF Championships.

It is not intended to teach experienced ground staff or a TR their job.

The most important function is to describe the ball size in matched sets and hoop clearances for WCF Championships.
