Egyptian Open Golf Croquet Championship
CAIRO:
OCTOBER 1st to 6th 2005 (inclusive)
The Egyptian
Croquet Federation and the World Croquet Federation are pleased
to announce a new event in the croquet world calendar: The First
Egyptian Open Championship, sanctioned by the WCF,with
the venue being the Egyptian Headquarters located in the Gezirah
Club, Cairo.
It is expected
that top players from around the world will enter this event.
The event will be played as a best of three block play followed
by a knock out event. The final and maybe semi-finals will be
best of five. The event will be played with Egyptian Balls. Some
play will be under floodlights. Tours and sightseeing trips can
be organised. There is no entry fee.

The
event organiser is Amir Ramsis, Prersident of the Egyptian Croquet
Associatioon.
The
Egyptian Croquet Association will once again provide an excellent
service to all players and their partners.
This will include:-
Organisation of Visa.
(Cost 25 US dollars)
Help through Customs
For players and spectators
a full range of tours can be arranged according to different programs
before and after the Championship including:-
- Visit to the Pyramids,
Sphinx, Sakkarra, Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo,
- plus a Nile cruise
trip for people who have more time. (That will require at least
4 nights).
- Transfer to and
from Airport..
